Dedication To God
One of the scribes, when he came forward and heard them disputing and saw how well he had answered them, asked him, “Which is the first of all the commandments?” Jesus replied, “The first is this: ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” The scribe said to him, “Well said, teacher. You are right in saying, ‘He is One and there is no other than he.’ And ‘to love him with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” And when Jesus saw that [he] answered with understanding, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And no one dared to ask him any more questions.
–Mark 12:28-34
I thank God for the opportunity to live and experience each day and the moment and space around me continually. I thank God for the good earth and life glorifying Him, the Maker of all things. We are God’s garden and God loves us all and wants us to love one another and love Him.
I record these views and possibilities as new and better methods of loving our brothers and sisters on this planet. We can feed, clothe and aid everyone on the planet and celebrate them in the family of mankind. We can make earth a loving warm and safe place with freedom for all, in the name of God, that it honor Him.
The end of fear and scarcity comes when we love and use what is good to share with everyone and provide for all. Take time during your day to forgive everyone of every bad thing you’ve perceived, and to thank the Lord for everything you have been given. Your opinion and attitude about these matters is more important than money and all the burnt offerings and sacrifices. Your will affects your life and those you adore.
Loving Advice
Society operates through two systems: social domination/submission by circumstance through fear, and blessed utopia through love. Love is the answer and forgiveness and joy and faith in God’s love gives glory to him, who made everything.
Deciding social rank based on who is cooler, or who is at fault and giving to that person whatever they can get away with is Satan’s method and results in destruction and degradation. Too many of our society’s coercion methods of advertising, over competitive business, sexual chaos, and pressure to perform collapse into this loveless D/s nightmare. Wake up and love.
World Peace by Service and Reform
Peace is the symptom of love. Love is the answer. Love is sufficient to bring these conditions, but when our normal human requirements are met and we have the opportunity to help one other and improve our ability to love and serve others through education and practice we express and feel love and peace becomes natural. Hardship is a test of faith as well as a judgement.
We can reduce hardship and help others by organizing World Service corps and devoting ‘foreign aid’ to recruiting local volunteers and craftsmen to assist well construction, distribute rations, basic healthcare and innoculation, and build cement structures for education, shelter, counseling, and industry to provide the basis of a society of peace everywhere in the world. They would dig wells for everyone in the world, costing very small amounts and By using local laborers we will reduce poverty and disease, increase quality of living, and inspire a wave of business infusion around the planet. It would be a fine example of beautiful charity and service to others.
In the same way, we can supply areas hit by starvation, such as the recent farm crisis in Mozambique, and 2006 Kenya with needed nutrition to avoid health and social crises. No one should go to sleep starving. If necessary we can work with local governments to import spare food and improve farming conditions and distribution worldwide.
1st world farming subsidies should be replaced with manipulatable [economic variable] state farms and an international Farmers’ Market to plan and regulate food supply instead of using expensive and prohibitive subsidy programs. We may also choose to sell food to a world pantry program for storage, relocation, or alternative use programs. World food supply is important enough to do this.
We can free people from homelessnessby providing them with cheap but productive labor and training resources. We can go into the poorest regions of the world and establish manufacturing plants, textile mills, and if possible hemp or other weed or vegetable farmspace, and hire people at these places not for profit or loss in the name of foreign aid and charity. After work they can opt to participate in education training to improve their job skills and branch out into the free market.
If you give a man a fish he’ll ask for one tomorrow but if you teach him to fish he will have fish always. We can provide training for free or nearly free, depending on resources, or we can trade educational resources for promised work later. If they train and work they can apply to rent out a portion of the factory or space to use it on their own, selling the goods to us or whomever they choose to and keeping the training and profits. These services will help many indigenous people and allow them to remain culturally independent. Their training, business, and profits will improve the local regions they come from, aiding global economies. This will create small businesses and provide people with the skills necessary to aid one another and stop receiving aid. Shifting this balance even a small amount can greatly improve world conditions.
A rapid program with a high turnover rate can quickly improve the world’s most impoverished competetive populations and lend them stability and independence. This kind of assistance can replace most foreign aid and become a replacement for the infamous World Bank and International Monetary Fund programs. These places will be training houses and manufacturing centers, oasises of service that will reward the good and diligent, but which others will pass over.
World Service Through Industry
We live on a grand but finite planet and experience a grand but finite amount of labor potential in a given day. We can provide universal ‘standard quality of living’ and help society produce that lovingly for all people, sustainably to very high populations, with earth’s resources. While facing a growing population with a low and uneven quality of living and rising dangers of pollution and ecological damage, it is critical to reform our industries to help produce the most love and qualities of living most efficiently. We can achieve this by improving energy, fuel efficiency, reworking agriculture, and reorganizing business, economics, and distribution.
New methods will divert energy production from net greenhouse gas producing methods reliant on non-sustainable resources to sustainable environment-supporting energy production methods. They will improve the land and healthiness of foods we eat. They will help more people benefit from the fruits of the land and put our resources towards more service oriented projects. They will reduce the stress and intensity of modern economic living and increase the level of personal service and friendship and love we are able to afford one another, and ourselves, that it please the Lord.
Section 1: Energy Production
We require thousands of megawatts of electricity to run our cities, offices, homes, and industries every day. We generate the majority of our power from burning coal and making heat from nuclear fission and using it to spin turbines. This fills the sky and water with radioactive pollution and smog, but it provides for our power needs. We can reduce our power needs per head to reduce our consumption of resources and shift our methods to end or dramatically reduce dangerous pollution.
There are no major companies building fuel cell parts or producing biodiesel specified vehicles Lack of infrastructure increases cost and reduces ability to change economies. A slow economy will sink in deep water. A nimble economy willing and able to quickly embrace change will be able to adjust in a timely manner. High overhead weighs down industry, and like a rich man’s yacht, heavy with treasures, is succeptible to danger by lack of performance and charity.
Section 1.1 Hydrogen Economy [solutions first, please. Then problems if there’s room]
New technology shows that America’s oil requirements can be replaced by hydrogen generated from bacterial photosynthesis. Just 25,000 km2 of this activity would supply enough, only 1/10 as much space as is used to grow soya.
Section 1.2 Fuel Cells
According to researchers linked by www.newscientist.com, enzymes harvested from bacteria and fungi can catalyze hydrogen and oxygen into water and electricity. That is a fuel cell in operation. The fuel cell can be made with a mason jar, a capacitor with each side covered in one type of the enzymes, and hydrogen added to the atmosphere in the jar. Power comes out of the capacitor. Previous expensive generations of fuel cell boasted 65% efficiency while using 1100*F temperatures. Enzymes replace that, making fuel cells the most efficient and cheapest form of sustainable energy production.
By seeding these fuel cells with bacterial photosynthesis hydrogen we can produce all the world's energy and combustion needs easily and without relying on dirty fossil fuels or nonrenewable resources.
