'When returning to Cana in Galilee, where Jesus turned water into wine, there was a royal official of the Roman Empire whose son was ill in Capernaum, a few days' walk away. When the official heard that Jesus was there he went to see him and ask him to heal his sick son, who was near death. Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe."

The royal official said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Jesus said to him, "You may go; your son will live." The man believed what Jesus said and left.

While on the way back to Capernaum, his servants met him and told him his boy would live. He asked them whe he began to recover, and they said yesterday at about one in the afternoon. The father realized that was when Jesus has said that the boy would live, and he and his whole household began to believe.'
